FCAKE001: Pellinore - Memento Mori 7"

Released on August 20th, 2007
From Oak Ridge New Jersey comes Pellinore who's debut EP 'Memento Mori' should make you feel very uncomfortable. Fast, manic, and evil sounding hardcore with influences ranging from classic ABC No Rio bands such as Rorschach, Citizens Arrest, and Born Against to Void, Siege, early Ringworm, and contemporaries like Cold Sweat. Depressing and paranoid lyrics to boot. If you don't like disgusting music then you might want to take a shower before hearing this.

Reviews

"... angular and noisy AmRep/powerviolence-y dirge, that bookends simple yet pointed thrash beatings ... This is a unique, listenable, and solid debut."
- Maximum RocknRoll
"I was hooked on this stuff pretty damn quickly, and the quality of their songwriting far outshines many comparable-yet-ultimately-lesser bands of the last decade..."
- Aversionline.com
"Pellinore is abrasive harsh sounding hardcore that delivers like an aluminum bat to the face ... If you like your hardcore fast and ugly, you'll like Pellinore."
- scenepointblank.com
"... Pellinore's songs often sound like they're on the verge of unraveling in the whirlwind of intensity, but they always stick together and, in turn, end up having more character ... Enjoyable."
